Bridgewater State Falls to Trinity in First Round of NCAA Tournament
Senior Sarah Remes scored four goals to lead the No. 8-ranked Trinity College Bantams to a 19-3 win over the Bridgewater State College Bears in the opening round of the NCAA Div. III Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament this afternoon on Robin Sheppard Field.
Bridgewater State Defeats Castleton for NEWLA Title
BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State College women's lacrosse team captured their third straight New England Women's Lacrosse Alliance (NEWLA) Tournament championship and fifth overall as the Bears downed Castleton State College, 21-9, this afternoon in Bridgewater.

2010 NEWLA All-Conference Teams Announced
The New England Women’s Lacrosse Alliance has announced its post-season honors. In a vote by the conference coaches, Bridgewater senior midfielder Shannon Manning was named NEWLA Offensive Player of the Year. Manning led the league with 38 assists in just seven conference contests, double what any other conference player contributed.
