Bridgewater State Chosen as Preseason League Favorite
Two-time defending champion Bridgewater State was selected as the women’s lacrosse preseason favorite of the New England Women’s Lacrosse Alliance in a vote conducted by the league’s coaches.

The Fitchburg State women's lacrosse team was named the 2009 NCAA Division III Sportsmanship Award recipient this past week as announced by John Blanchard, Chairman of the Committee on Sportsmanship and Ethical Conduct.
Framingham State Accepted into NEWLA Membership for 2010 Season
The New England Women's Lacrosse Alliance will be adding an eighth member beginning in the spring of 2010. Framingham State College's application for membership into the NEWLA was approved by the member athletic directors at their most recent meeting.
